  • System Design (SD)Interviewer: The interviewer talked to the trainee about the design of job scheduler, and mainly wanted to see the trainee's understanding of the task scheduling system and the ability to design it. After receiving our tips, the trainee explained the system architecture, task prioritization and other key points clearly.
  • Programming questions (Coding): The topic is streaming data to find the median, this kind of question tests the mastery of data structures and algorithms. With our push, the trainee immediately thought of using these data structures with priority queues and quickly gave a solution.

Onsite Ring

  • System Design (SD)Interviewer: The interviewer circled back to the design of the job scheduler to further test the trainee's system design thinking. With the previous foundation, the trainee added more details this time, such as fault-tolerance mechanism, scalability design, and so on, and considered more thoroughly.
  • Programming questions (Coding)There is a distribution problem that is quite interesting. In the array, 0 represents empty space, 1 represents people, 2 represents cakes, and you are asked to distribute each cake to the nearest person, and find the optimal distribution plan. This problem is not only about algorithm design, but also about logical reasoning. Participants step by step analyze how to calculate the distance, how to determine the distribution strategy, and finally write out the code.
  • Hiring Manager (HM): This round focuses on behavioral issues by asking questions to understand work attitude and work ethics. Participants clearly expressed their principles and methods in teamwork and problem solving based on their past experiences.
  • ExpertiseThe interviewer dug deep into the project experience in the trainee's resume, and the trainee didn't panic, and talked in detail about the background of each project, the challenges he encountered, and how he solved them, because we had rehearsed this session many times.
  • Project Presentation (Presentation)The participants were required to prepare a project presentation, telling about the background, realization and results of the project. With the help of our team, the trainees prepared well in advance, highlighting their professional competence and explaining the context of the project clearly.
