The Zoox site felt like people were very passionate and working hard to get things done. The first round of branding reverse LL recursion + iteration; buying and selling stocks I followed up with "what to do if the array is too long to fit on one machine" - you can parallelize the same algorithm on multiple machines, and then each find min/ max. The first one is "Leetcode 4 find the median of two sorted arrays"; then there is 2D matrix from top left to bottom right path with minimum cost, there is negative cost, write DP first, then implement DFS. I've had so many questions in an hour, it's the first time I've ever experienced that.

The second round was a series of mathematical and logical questions, like Chinese elementary and junior high school math, physics questions and brain teasers: find the perimeter of a hexagon; estimate the distance to the moon; whether the water surface floats up or down after sitting on a boat in a swimming pool and holding a ball and throwing it into the water....... After solving them one by one, there were still 15 minutes left, and the white man chatted with me for a while.

The third round was to talk about the project with a great Chinese Manager and why he chose the unmanned vehicle field.

There was a fourth round of interview with VP, but VP was very busy that day, HR just showed me around and sent me out. The cafeteria was good, the kitchen was good, and everyone was working seriously on unmanned vehicles. I interviewed with Vision and ML group, and sometimes I was asked about embedded systems, so the overall interview experience was very good.

The next day, I received a verbal offer and made an appointment to go back to the site to chat with the VP and have lunch with my teammates.
